Upon starting the game, players select their preferred pawn color and place four pawns at their designated starting positions. During each turn, players roll the dice, and the number rolled dictates how many spaces they may advance their pieces. Notably, rolling a six grants an additional roll.

Movement of pieces adheres to specific rules. Players must land on the starting position with a six before advancing any piece. Should two pieces occupy the same grid, one player's piece is sent back to the starting point, necessitating a fresh start. This aspect introduces an element of strategy coupled with luck, as players aim to advance their pieces efficiently.

The game also features special grids and props that enhance gameplay. Safety grids allow players to rest without risk of being sent back, jumping props enable players to leap over others, and traps can return an opponent's piece to the starting line.
